Anatomy

It aims at giving inclusive knowledge of the gross and microscopic structure and development of human body to provide a basis for assessing the correlation of organs and structures and anatomical basis for disease presentations. Through cadaver dissection and histology, students can understand the normal human anatomy, comprehend structures of various tissues and organs and co- relate the structure and function in order to understand diseased states. Also, the student shall be capable of understanding the regulation and integration of the functions of the organs and systems in the body and interpret the anatomical basis of disease process using the combined teaching of other basic sciences.
