Guest Lecture on "Extramural Research in AYUSH: Scope and Possibilities"

The Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, Yenepoya Naturopathy and Yogic Science College & Hospital (YNYSCH), organized an engaging guest lecture on "Extramural Research in AYUSH: Scope and Possibilities" delivered by Dr. Swathi P. S, Research Officer, Central Research Institute in Yoga and Naturopathy (CRIYN), Nagamangala, Mandya.

Dr. Swathi, an accomplished researcher in Yoga and Naturopathy, explained in detail the types of research, the difference between intramural and extramural research, and the scope of AYUSH research initiatives. She encouraged faculty and students to actively develop research proposals and contribute to evidence-based treatment protocols that strengthen the scientific foundation of traditional systems of medicine.

The session concluded with an interactive discussion, where Dr. Swathi addressed participants' queries and shared practical insights on research development, proposal writing, and scientific documentation.
