First Aid Awareness Workshop

The Youth Red Cross (YRC) Unit of Yenepoya Naturopathy and Yogic Science College & Hospital (YNYSCH) organized a First Aid Awareness Workshop on 29th September 2025 to educate students and staff on essential life-saving techniques and emergency response procedures.

The first session, led by Ms. Daisy D'Souza, Assistant Professor, Yenepoya Nursing College, focused on CPR and choking management, including practical demonstrations. The second session, conducted by Dr. Harinarayana A., Professor and YRC Programme Officer, Yenepoya Homeopathic Medical College, covered safe patient handling and transportation techniques.

The workshop provided participants with valuable hands-on training, enhancing their confidence and preparedness in emergency situations, and successfully promoted awareness of first aid and immediate response care.
