FREE Acupressure & Reflexology Wellness Camp for Medical Professionals

The Department of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences, Yenepoya Medical College Hospital (YMCH), Deralakatte, successfully organized a Free Acupressure and Reflexology Wellness Camp exclusively for medical professionals on 20th September 2025, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the YMCH campus, Deralakatte.

The camp aimed to promote relaxation, rejuvenation, and holistic well-being among healthcare professionals who often experience high levels of physical and mental stress. Participants were introduced to the natural healing benefits of Acupressure and Reflexology, traditional therapeutic techniques known to relieve stress, tension, headaches, back pain, muscle stiffness, and fatigue while improving overall energy balance and relaxation.

The program featured personalized acupressure sessions, demonstrations, and interactive talks on self-healing techniques and the integration of traditional therapies with modern wellness practices. Guided relaxation therapy sessions were also conducted to help participants experience calmness and inner balance.

Doctors, nurses, interns, and allied health professionals actively participated in the camp and appreciated the initiative for providing them an opportunity to focus on their own health and wellness. The event successfully conveyed the importance of self-care and natural healing, emphasizing that those who care for others also deserve care and rejuvenation.
