"Yoga Sangam" on account of "International Day of Yoga"

On behalf of International Day of Yoga 2025 Yenepoya Naturopathy and Yogic Science College and Hospital Naringana, in association with Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga, New Delhi and ministry of AYUSH conducted "Yoga Sangam".

The program commenced with the Master of Ceremony by Dr.Vajrakshi, Prayer by 1st year BNYS student Hajia Thafseera and Yoga Prayer by Dr.Apith Kumar followed by Lamp lighting which was done by the Dr.Gangadhar Somayaji K.S., Registrar, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), Dr.Vijayendra V.Itagi, Principal, Yenepoya Homoeopthic Medical College, Mangalore, Dr. Puneeth Raghavendra K R, Principal, Yenepoya Naturopathy and Yogic Science College and Hospital, Dr.Padmashree, Dr.Sangeethalaxmi and Dr.Arpith.

The program was conducted with the joint support of Yenepoya Ayurveda Medical College, Yenepoya Homoeopthic Medical College and Yenepoya Nursing College, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), Mangalore.

The program was continued with insightful opening remarks and welcome address from Dr.Puneeth Raghavendra K R, Principal, Yenepoya Naturopathy and Yogic Science College and Hospital, Mangalore.

Inaugural address was given by the Chief Guest Dr.Gangadhar Somayaji K.S, Registrar, Yenepoya( Deemed to be University), Mangalore.

As a part of program the guests were felicitated with the memento. Then the program was continued with the live telecast of Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi's Speech.

Then IDY Yoga Protocol practice for the participants was done under the guidance of Dr.Arpith. With this the morning program was concluded.

Then as a part of International yoga Day celebration Dr.Dwaraknath, Naturopathy and Yoga Physician, Tapasya Mitra Foundation was invited as Guest of Honour to motivate the students with his inspirational words on becoming successful Naturopathy Physician.

Dr.Abhijna delivered the welcome speech for the gatherings.

A detailed report on the activities performed Yenepoya Naturopathy and yogic sciences college and hospital on account of International Day of Yoga was presented by Dr.Padmashree.

Program Chief Guest Dr.B.T.Nandeesh Controller of Examinations, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) delivered the guest speech.

Later both the guests were felicitated with the memento by the Principal Dr.Puneeth Raghavendra K R.

Then cultural programs performed by BNYS students on account of International Day of Yoga 2025.

Later the program was concluded by the Vote of Thanks which was delivered by Ms.Priya Mathew.
